Chicken with lime juice, tomatoes, and vegetables. Very tasty. Ingredients:
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 medium green pepper, chopped |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
3 tablespoons lime juice |
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in a 3 or 4 quart slow cooker coated with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, green pepper, garlic, lime juice, pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken. 2. Cover and cook on low for 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until juices run clear. 3. Is best when served with rice. |
