Ingredients:
1 pound fresh green beans |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 minced garlic clove |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Cook 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed, in boiling water to cover 4 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Plunge beans into ice water to stop the cooking process; drain. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 minced garlic clove; sauté 1 minute. Stir in beans, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook 4 minutes or until hot. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice just before serving. |
