These great dessert enchiladas are addictive. I took these to a church dinner and everyone wanted the recipe. Ofcourse I held out till our ladies group printed our most recent cook book then they had to buy the recipe! Read more ! It was for a charitable cause! Ingredients:
1- 21oz can apple pie filling |
6-8in. tortillas |
1t. ground cinnamon |
1/3c. butter |
zest and juice of one lime |
1/2c. white sugar |
1/2c. brown sugar |
1/2c. water |
1/8t. caynne |
2t. pure vanilla |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 2. mix 1t. vanilla with pie filling 3. spoon filling into tortillas 4. put in baking dish seam side down 5. in a sauce pan combine sugars, butter. water, caynne, 1t. vanilla, and lime zest and juice, boil 3 min. 6. pour sauce over tortillas and sprinkle extra cinnamon on top. 7. bake 30 min. 8. serve with vanilla bean ice cream |
