This isn't your average turkey sandwich. It'll leave you wanting one everyday for lunch. Great for a beautiful day with good company. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1/2 panini loaf or 1/2 ciabatta bun (from whole foods market is best) |
2 slices smoked sliced turkey |
1 tablespoon unsalted butter |
1 slice swiss ementaler cheese |
green leaf lettuce |
two slices ripe tomato |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Slice panini loaf length wise and spread butter across inner side. 2. Slice the tomato for two 1/4 inch pieces. 3. Brown the panini loaf half over medium heat. 4. When bread is nicely browned, remove from stove and place turkey, cheese, 5. lettuce, and tomato on top in that order. 6. Return to stove and no brown the bottom of the bread. 7. When done, sprinkly salt and pepper over top and serve. |
