Very good. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 large diced green pepper |
2 sliced celery ribs |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 1/2 cups tomato juice |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 lb large shrimp |
4 cups hot cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Heat butter, green pepper, celery, onion, oregano, garlic powder, & cayenne pepper until veggies are crisp. 2. Add tomato juice. Heat to boil. Simmer for 5 minute. 3. Mix cornstarch & 1/2 cup tomato juice until smooth. 4. Add mixture & shrimp to vegetables. Cook till mixture boils, thickens, & shrimp turns pink. Let simmer 1 hour. 5. Serve over rice. |
