From 101 Recipes From God's Garden originally titled Shake & Bake Fries but I thought that was a misnomer as it doesn't use the product at all! Just the bag method which I use quite often. I added a little paprika and upped the olive oil to 4 teaspoons (originally called for 1 tablespoon) because I felt the first batch came out too dry, 1 teaspoon per potato should do ya fine. Ingredients:
4 large baking potatoes |
4 teaspoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1 dash paprika |
Directions:
1. Spray large baking dish with cooking spray or grease with a little olive oil. Cut the potatoes length-wise into 3/4 inch thick wedges then place all ingredients into large zipper bag and seal with some air trapped in it. (I prefer to cut into chunks or rounds and it comes out just as good, LOVE the flavor combo in this.). 2. Shake together until potatoes are evenly coated. 3. Place on baking dish and bake at 425F for 40 to 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Turn on the broiler for another 5 minutes for nice crispy edges. |
