Yummy Salad With Poppy Dressing

This is a salad with a wonderful fruit, cheese, and nut combination and a tasty homemade poppy seed dressing
Ingredients:
12 ounces romaine lettuce
4 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup craisins
1 green apple, peeled cored and diced
1 pear, peeled cored and diced
1 cup cashew pieces
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons onions, diced
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon poppy seed
Directions:
1. Toss lettuce, cheese, craisins, apple, pear, and cashews in large mixing/salad bowl and set aside.
2. Combine sugar, lemon juice, onion, mustard, and salt in blender.
3. Slowly add oil and poppy seeds in blender.
4. Blend gently until well mixed.
5. Serve over prepared salad.
