I've stumbled upon these by mixing up a couple of other recipes together. They taste so good, you almost forget they're good for you too.
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup ground flax seed meal
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F
2. Combine the dry ingredients.
3. Bring syrup, brown sugar and butter to boil.
4. Add wet ingredients to dry; mix well.
5. Firmly pack down into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
7. Let cool before turning out and cutting.
