A great way to get a healthy dose of Omega 3s! These pancakes have a delicious, nutty, buttermilk taste.
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons ground flax seeds
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Mix all dry ingredients.
2. Stir in egg, milk and vanilla.
3. Mix until blended but don't over beat.
4. Spray griddle with butter-flavored pan.
5. Scoop pancake batter out by 1/4 cups.
6. Cook pancake on griddle until bubbly, then flip.
