I don't remember where this recipe came from but your dog is going to love it. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups self-raising flour |
1 cup chicken livers or 1 cup beef liver, chopped |
1/2 cup chicken stock or 1/2 cup beef stock |
1/2 cup milk |
1 ounce butter or 1 ounce margarine |
3 tablespoons parsley, chopped |
Directions:
1. Chopped Liver:. 2. Boil liver until it look gray and rubbery. 3. (You can microwave it on high for approximately 8 minutes.). 4. Chop into small pieces. 5. Store in airtight containers in fridge. 6. Scones:. 7. Sift flour into bowl and cut in butter. 8. Add chopped liver. 9. Stir in milk and enough water to make a sticky dough. 10. Turn dough onto floured surface. 11. Knead quickly and lightly until dough is smooth. 12. Press dough out evenly to about 2 cm (3/4 inch) and cut into rounds. 13. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 F for 15 minutes. |
