Ooey, gooey and delicious! Has the flavor of chocolate and toffee. What more could you want. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/2 cup butter, softened |
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
2 large eggs |
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips |
1/2 cup nuts |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°. 2. Combine crust ingredients in small bowl and blend well. 3. Press into bottom of ungreased 9x13 baking pan. 4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. 5. Remove from oven to cool slightly. 6. Increase oven temp to 375°. 7. In medium bowl combine 1 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp flour, baking powder and eggs. 8. Blend well. 9. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. 10. Pour topping evenly over crust, spreading lightly, if necessary. 11. Bake at 357° for 13 to 18 minutes or until deep golden brown. 12. Cool completely before cutting into bars. |
