I've been making these pancakes for a long time. These are hands down the best pancakes I've ever had. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup old fashioned oats |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
1/4 cup butter, melted, plus more for cooking |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
3/4 cup sour cream |
3/4 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 medium ripe bananas, mashed |
butter and pure maple syrup, for serving |
Directions:
1. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and walnuts, set aside. 2. In a large mixing bowl stir together butter, sugar, eggs, sour cream, milk, vanilla, and bananas. Mix in flour mixture until blended. 3. Heat a griddle over medium heat and grease with non stick cooking spray. Drop batter by 1/3 cups onto prepared griddle. Cook each side until golden brown. 4. Serve pancakes immediatly with butter and maple syrup. |
