makes a wonderful side dish for a bbq Ingredients:
3 cups broccoli ( cut up flowerets and stems) |
3 cups cauliflower ( bite size pieces) |
1/2 cup water chestnuts (chopped) |
1 cup cubed cheddar cheese |
1/4 cup slivered almonds |
1 1lb fried bacon (crushed) |
3 tblsp minced red onion |
1 cup mayonaise |
1 cup sour cream |
seasoning salt to taste |
Directions:
1. Wash dry and chop up broccoli and cauliflower 2. add to large bowl 3. along with waterchestnuts,cubed cheese, almonds, bacon and onion. 4. mix sour cream and mayonaise together than add to vegtables mix well. Refrigerate for aleast 1 hour allowing flavors to blend. |
