This serves 12 to 15. Ingredients:
topping mixture |
1/3 c. brown sugar |
1/2 c. granulated sugar |
1 c. finely chopped nuts |
1 scant tsp. cinnamon |
first batter mixture |
1 stick margarine |
1 c. granulated sugar |
2 eggs |
1 tsp. vanilla |
second batter mixture |
2 c. flour |
1 tsp. baking powder |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1/2 tsp. salt |
Directions:
1. Add one batter mixture to the other alternately with 1 cup of sour cream. 2. Grease 9 x 13-inch pan. 3. Pour into pan one layer of batter, cover with half the topping mixture, the the rest of the batter in spoonfuls. 4. Do not try to spread, it will all blend. 5. Use rest of topping mixture. 6. Bake in a 325 degree oven for about 40 minutes. 7. Serves 12 to 15. |
