One of my beau's simply delicious creations. Great as an appetizer, snack or side dish. Ingredients:
6 small yukon gold potatoes, sliced into 1/8 pieces |
2 tbsp chopped onions |
seasoning salt (lawry's) to taste (we used about 1/3 tsp total) |
oil (we used smart balance omega blend) |
Directions:
1. Pour about 2 inches of oil into a small saucepan. Heat over medium, to about 350F. 2. Line a bowl or place with paper towel. 3. Carefully place half of sliced potatoes & chopped onions to oil. Season. Fry until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes. 4. Transfer fried potatoes to lined dish. 5. Carefully place remaining potatoes & onions to oil. Season. Fry until golden brown, about 4-6 minutes. 6. Transfer to lined dish. |
