Don't be put off by the colour or the chilli . This dish will tickle your taste bud for sure . Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves |
2 cm galangal |
5 candlenuts |
2 tsp chilli pwd |
1 tsp tumeric powder |
3 tbsp dried prawns soaked in hot water for 5 mins . |
olive oil |
water |
1 cup low fat evaporated milk |
salt |
a handful laksa leaves / daun kesum |
yong tow foo ing . ( fish paste stuffed into tofu and vegetables like chilli , lady's finger , brinjal , capsicum etc ) |
Directions:
1. Blend the 1st 6 ing into fine paste . 2. Stir fry them in olive oil for 5 mins until the oil separates 3. Add water and boil for 5 mins . 4. Add the remaining ing and boil for 10 mins . 5. Serve with rice / noodles |
