great dressing for any salad Ingredients:
8-oz carton (1 cup) plain yogurt or dairy sour cream |
1 tbsp sugar or honey |
1/4 tsp onion salt |
1 1/2 tsp prepared mustard |
1 tsp lemon juice |
in small bowl, combine all ingredients, blend well. cover; refrigerate. |
Directions:
1. Variations: 2. Chive Yogurt Dressing: Add 2 tablespoons chopped chives. If desired, add 2 slices crumbled, crispy cooked bacon, or 1 tablespoon bacon-flavored bits. 3. CHUTNEY YOGURT DRESSING: Add 1/4 cup chopped chutney and 1 teaspoon curry powder. 4. CURRY YOGURT DRESSING: Add 1 teaspoon curry powder. 5. HORSERADISH YOGURT DRESSING: Decrease sugar to 1 teaspoon and add 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish and 1/2 teaspoon Worcestshire sauce. |
