Each serving is 1 tablespoon. I found these recipes in Prevention's Book Of Home Remedies and Super-Healing Foods. I have not tried these recipes, but I'm posting them for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3 cups plain nonfat yogurt |
1 1/2 cups yogurt cheese |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 tablespoon mined parsley |
1 teaspoon dried herbs |
1 1/2 cups yogurt cheese |
2 tablespoons minced raisins |
1 tablespoon chopped almonds |
1 1/2 teaspoons honey |
1 1/2 teaspoons orange juice concentrate |
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Plain Yogurt Cheese: Line a colander with cheesecloth. Spoon in yogurt and set colander in a bowl. Let it drain in the refrigerator overnight. 2. Herbal Yogurt Cheese: Mix all ingredients together well. For the dried herbs, try cominations such as dill/savory, tarragon/chervil, rosemary/thyme and others. 3. Orange Almond Cheese: Mix all ingredients together well. |
