Yes Another Hummus Recipe |

I adapted this from How to Cook Everything , and I make it almost weekly Ingredients:
2 cups (1 can) garbanzo beans |
1/4 cup tahini |
1/2 cup olive oil |
1 small clove of garlic, quartered |
1/2 tablespoon of cumin |
salt & pepper to taste |
juice of 1-2 lemons |
approximately 1/3 cup of water |
Directions:
1. Put the garlic clove in the food processor and pulse until finely minced. 2. Place beans, tahini, oil, cumin, salt, pepper & lemon juice in the bowl of the food processor and blend until smooth. 3. Drizzle in water until a smooth paste is reached. 4. Add more lemon, cumin, salt, pepper to taste. 5. Drizzle with more olive oil or sprinkle with cumin if you want to get fancy. |
