YEPPER DOODLE CREAMED TATERS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cook Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
6 potatoes |
4 tablespoons butter |
3 tablespoons flour |
1-1/2 cups milk |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Dice and cook potatoes in boiling water. 2. Make white sauce of butter, flour and milk. 3. Season with salt and pepper. 4. Drain cooked potatoes and place in serving dish or casserole. 5. Cover with white sauce then serve immediately. |
