From Heart of the Palms Ingredients:
3 slices bacon, cut into fourths |
1 medium onion, chopped |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 lbs yellow squash, sliced thin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Saute bacon and onion in butter until tender. 2. Add squash and seasonings. 3. Cover and simmer over low heat 30-40 minutes. |
