Yellow Squash and Red Onion Sauteed in Milk |

This sounds ridiculous. Someone I worked with, years ago, told me to try this. I did and it's really good. Try it! Any milk will do. Ingredients:
2 yellow squash, sliced (more or less) |
1/2 red onion, sliced (more or less) |
1/2 cup milk (skim, 1%, 2% or whole) |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Pour the milk in a skillet and heat gently. 2. Add squash and onion. 3. Cook until done to your liking, I prefer still al dente (some people like them soft and squishy). 4. Salt and pepper to taste. 5. Enjoy! |
