This is good all on its own or as a side dish! Its a very simple recipe because the yellow split peas already have a great flavor to them. Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) bag yellow split peas, dried |
1 carrot, sliced |
black pepper |
1 onion, diced |
chicken stock |
Directions:
1. Put all the ingredients into the pressure cooker, making the chicken stock reach about 1 1/2 inches above the peas, depending on how thick u like the soup. 2. After the pressure cooker begins to whistle, let it boil for 15 minutes then shut it off. 3. Enjoy! |
