4 1/2 c broth |
1 large onion |
1 large tomato |
1/2 tsp ginger |
1/2 tsp garlic |
1 tsp margarine |
1 tsp cumin |
1/8 tsp turmeric |
1 t cilantro |
Directions:
1. boil dal 2. make ginger, garlic, chili paste 3. melt margaine & splutter jeera 4. add onions and saute 5. add paste, salt, turmeric, dal 6. cook 5 mins 7. add tomatoes 8. garnish w/ cilantro |
