My husband hates baking powder bisquits so my friend gave me this recipe. He loves these! Ingredients:
1 pkt. yeast |
1 cup luke warm water |
2 tbs. suga |
4 tbs. dry milk |
2 cups flour |
1/2 tsp. baking powder |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Mix the yeast, water, and sugar together and let set for 10 minutes. 2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the yeast mixture and mix well. 3. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick and cut out bisquits with your bisquit cutter or a jar if you don't have one. Place on a greased baking pan, brush with melted butter and let raise for about 30 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees until brown for 15 - 20 minutes. 4. Note: If it is sticky, add a little more flour. |
