Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 eggs, lightly beaten
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine milk, margarine, and eggs; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
2. Pour batter into a greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden. Cut into squares.
