Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 cup whole milk |
1/2 cup margarine, melted |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine milk, margarine, and eggs; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. 2. Pour batter into a greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden. Cut into squares. |
