YAMS HAM AND APPLES This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brooks Estate in Richardson, Texas in 2006. Ingredients:
29 ounce can yams drained |
2 cups cooked ham diced |
2 apples cored and cut into pieces |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons melted margarine |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Cut yams into bite size pieces and place in single layer in bottom of baking dish. 3. Combine ham, apples, brown sugar and dry mustard in large bowl and mix. 4. Spoon mixture over yams then pour melted margarine on top and bake 20 minutes. |
