1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 cup orange juice |
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened |
3 (17-ounce) cans yams |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and orange juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add butter, stirring until melted. Place yams in a 2-quart casserole. Pour glaze over yams. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes. |
