Servings: 4
Good baked buffalo wings.
Ingredients:
18 -24 frozen chicken wings
1/3 cup margarine
1 cup hot sauce
cayenne pepper
chili powder
Directions:
1. Cooking:.
2. -Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
3. -Place wings on a metal cookie sheet that has sides.
4. -Cook wings for 30 minutes, flip wings and cook for 15 minutes, flip again and cook for another 15 minutes, wings are done when they have a good crisp on each side.
5. Sauce (do this while the wings are cooking):.
6. -Place 1 cup of sauce in sauce pan.
7. -Add 1/3 cup of butter.
8. -Let butter melt into sauce at medium to low heat while stirring and add a couple shakes of cayenne pepper (it’s up to you how hot you want it, I pack it on), add some chili pepper (couple shakes will do) and then your favorite hot sauce, mix it in, stir it and you’re good to go.
9. -You want the sauce to be a little thick before you put them on the wings (it sticks better).
10. Coating your wings:.
11. -Get a medium sized bowl.
12. -Put 6- 8 wings in bowl.
13. -Put 2-3 tablespoons of sauce on the wings (after doing this a couple times you’ll be able to eyeball it) and shake bowl in a clockwise motion (this is how wing restaurants do it, coats them perfectly) till wings are coated and repeat.
14. Serve with celery, carrots and a good chunky blue cheese and you’re ready for the game.
15. Other flavor wings:.
16. *Barbeque wings: Sweet Baby Ray’s Award winning BBQ Sauce ( )
17. *Hoisin Garlic Wings: Soy Vay Hoisin Garlic Sauce ( ).
18. *Teriyaki: Soy Vay Teriyaki Sauce ( ).
19. *Coat using the same clockwise wrist coating motion.
20. *These are recommended sauces to use (I’ve tried a lot of sauces and have found these to be the best, but feel free to use your favorite sauces as well) and enjoy.
