World's Very Best Popovers |

These popovers come out so light and fluffy, with the slightest hint of vanilla and cinnamon. Though the recipe is difficult, it is worth it! Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups milk |
4 cups flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
6 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven for 450°F. 2. Make sure the eggs are at room temperature. 3. Microwave the milk on high for 2 minutes. 4. Take the measured flour, salt, and baking powder, and sift it all together. 5. Using a Stand Mixer; on low, slowly mix the milk into the eggs. 6. Slowly (on low) add in the sifted ingredients. 7. Add in the cinnamon and vanilla. 8. Beat this mixture on high for 2 minutes. 9. Let the batter rest for 1 hour, at room temperature. 10. Pour the batter into a greased popover pan, about halfway up. 11. Bake for 15 minutes. 12. Lower the oven to 375F and bake for 30-35 minutes longer. 13. Eat while hot, serve with butter, honey, or jam. |
