Rich tangy BBQ sauce that is good on everything. Original recipe is very old and cannot remember where it originated. Ingredients:
2 cups brewed black coffee |
2 cups worcestershire sauce |
3 cups catsup |
1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar |
1/2 cup dijon mustard |
1 1/2 cups brown sugar |
1/2 cup honey |
1/2 cup sweet soy sauce |
1 large onion, chopped |
1 anaheim chili, chopped |
8 garlic cloves, minced |
5 tablespoons chili powder |
1 tablespoon crushed cumin |
1 lemon, juice of |
Directions:
1. In a larger pot, combine all ingredients. 2. Bring to a slow boil, lower heat and simmer for at least 2 hours. 3. Then strain before using. 4. Makes 8 cups. |
