The name says it all. Ingredients:
1 c. sugar |
1/2 c. shortening |
2 eggs |
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas |
1 1/4 c. flour |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. soda |
1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired |
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and bananas. Mix well. 2. Stir in flour, salt, soda and nuts until blended thoroughly. 3. Bake 1 hour in 9 x 5 inch pan, greased and floured at 350 degrees. 4. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes, then invert on wire rack to cool. 5. Can also be baked in 3 mini-loaf pans for 20-25 minutes. |
