From The Three Dog Bakery Ingredients:
4 cups whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup cornmeal |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 3/4 cups water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325*. 2. Mix all ingredients together then turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead well. Roll dough out to a 1/2 thick and cut out 8 squares. 3. Place each square on a waffle irom (unplugged) and press down the dough in order to make the waffle impression. 4. Place waffles on a greased baking sheet and bake for 1 hour. cool and serve each waffle broken into quarters. 5. Store in an airtight container. |
