These are great to have on hand to deep fry as appetizers or throw in some soup broth. Ingredients:
3/4 lb. ground pork |
1/2 lb. shrimp, chopped |
1 tbsp. soy sauce |
1 tsp. minced garlic |
1 tsp. minced ginger |
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions |
1/2 tsp. sambalak or other hot sauce |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 pkg. wonton wrappers |
Directions:
1. In medium-sized bowl mix pork and shrimp. Add the onion, soya sauce, garlic, ginger , sambalak and salt. Mix together well. Put about 1/2 tsp. in center of wonton wrapper. Since these brown very quickly, too much filling won't have time to cook. Moisten edges, fold over to form triangle. Press edges to seal. Fold 2 corners over, moisten and press together to seal. Makes 7 to 8 dozen. Freeze on cookie sheet and then store in freezer bag in freezer. Pull out only what you will use. Thaw before deep frying. Throw into soups frozen. |
