REMEMBER LIFE IS TO SHORT SO MAKE JERKY, COOK, LOVE, INSPIRE AND ALWAYS BE KIND TO SOMEONE AS BILL WAS TO ALL OF US. BILLS NOTES ARE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE DIRECTIONS. Ingredients:
i use 3 lbs. of flank steak/sandwich steak cause that's what |
fits my dehydrator and i also double this recipe for that amount. |
1/4 c. soy sauce |
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce (lea & perrins) |
1 tbsp. a-1 sauce (and only a-1 brand ) |
1 tsp. liquid smoke |
1/2 tsp. garlic powder |
1/2 tsp. onion powder |
1/2 tsp.fresh ground black pepper corns |
1/2 tsp. fresh ground sea salt |
Directions:
1. I marinade this over night and then dry for 6 hours at 2. The highest temp on my dehydrator. 3. Have lots of fun with this! 4. VARIATIONS: 5. One marinade that works well is simply Honey mixed with minced garlic and soy sauce 6. Lemon juice, brown sugar, and a little salt (I usually through things in until it tastes right) 7. A marinade just slightly changes the flavor of the beef. 8. Any cut of lean beef is good, the idea is to get as much of the fat out as you can. 9. Or if you like Thai food - try mixing a peanut type marinade - we 10. Love this one - peanut butter, with water, Indonesian or sweet soy sauce. 11. Sambal (red pepper sauce), lemon juice, - just mix over low heat until You have a sauce consistency and the taste seems right - this is Excellent for stirfrys 12. Anyway, experiment almost anything will work - and its a lot cheaper and A lot tastier than the stuff you buy |
