Winter Vegetable Gratin

Adapted from an advertisement that I found in a magazine .
Ingredients:
1/4 fresh pumpkin, peeled, seeds removed, diced
2 parsnips, peeled, diced
1 leek, finely sliced
2 small fennel bulbs, finely diced
200 g creme fraiche
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
salt and pepper
2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 190°C.
2. Lightly grease baking dish.
3. Scatter finely diced vegetable over base of dish.
4. In a bowl whisk milk, eggs and creme fraiche together.
5. Season well, pour mixture over vegetables.
6. Scatter cheese over top.
7. Bake 35 - 45 minutes till vegetables are cooked.
