This is my mother's recipe. It goes great with grilled food. Ingredients:
1 pear, cored and chopped |
1 apple, cored and chopped |
1 cup cashews |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 cup grated swiss cheese |
1 1/2 bunches romaine lettuce |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons chopped onions |
1/3 cup lemon juice |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
2/3 cup olive oil |
Directions:
1. toss salad ingredients together except for raisins. 2. mix dressing ingredients. 3. serve dressing and raisins on the side. 4. enjoy! |
