Winter Melon and Pork Soup |

Serve this clear soup with hot steamed polished rice. Ingredients:
900 g winter melon, peel skin, remove seeds and cut into small cubes |
150 g lean ground pork |
1 tablespoon rice wine or 1 tablespoon sherry wine |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce |
2 1/2 cups water |
Directions:
1. Boil water in a saucepan. 2. Add in winter melon cubes and simmer for 25 minutes or till winter melon cubes are soft (transparent looking). 3. Add soy sauce, salt and rice wine to taste. 4. Remove and serve. |
