1 pound johnsonville® mild ground italian sausage |
4 cups chopped cabbage |
2 cups sliced fresh carrots |
2 medium potatoes, chopped |
1 cup chopped onion |
2 cups beef or chicken broth |
1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained |
1/2 cup tomato juice |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. In an ovenproof Dutch oven, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. 2. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 350° for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until vegetables are tender. Yield: 16 servings (4 quarts). |
