This recipe goes with Christmas Pudding
Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup burgundy or other dry red wine
Directions:
1. Combine egg, sugar, and water in top of a double boiler; beat well. Add butter; cook over boiling water, stirring frequently, 30 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat; stir in wine. Serve warm.
