This recipe goes with Christmas Pudding Ingredients:
1 egg |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon water |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1/4 cup burgundy or other dry red wine |
Directions:
1. Combine egg, sugar, and water in top of a double boiler; beat well. Add butter; cook over boiling water, stirring frequently, 30 minutes or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat; stir in wine. Serve warm. |
