Yeh yeh, the significance of the title didn't escape me. I just couldn't resist ;-) Ingredients:
1/2 stick (2 oz) butter |
2 to 3 medium onions, medium dice |
6 oz armour® summer sausage, medium dice |
2 (28 oz) cans bush’s® best original baked beans |
2 tsps kitchen bouquet® browning & seasoning sauce |
2 to 3 tbsps gulden’s® spicy brown mustard |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or spray a 2.5 ltr casserole... 2. 1. Heat the butter in a saucepan until sizzling; add onions and sausage dice and cook until onions are tender. 3. 2. Dump the cans of beans into the greased casserole; stir in the browning sauce and mustard. Add the contents of the saucepan and combine. 4. 3. Bake in the preheated oven without a cover for 30 to 45 minutes or until heated through and the casserole is not too soupy. |
