From Madison Middle School. Ingredients:
3 -4 scallions, chopped |
4 -6 slices bacon, fried |
1/4 cup vinegar |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1/2 cup bacon drippings |
1/2-1 teaspoon salt |
black pepper, coarsely ground |
4 -6 cups salad greens |
Directions:
1. Saute scallions in bacon drippings. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir mixture until it is clear. Pour hot dressing on greens. Crumble bacon over top. Toss well. |
