Ingredients:
2 cups canned no-salt-added chicken broth, undiluted |
1 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked |
1/2 cup brown rice, uncooked |
3 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon dried whole basil |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Stir in toasted pine nuts and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer an additional 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. |
