This is from First magazine. I wanted to save it here. Ingredients:
1 cup wild rice |
1/2 cup white rice, like carolina |
2 cups red and/or green seedless grapes, halved |
2/3cup toasted chopped pecans, like diamond |
1tbs chopped fresh thyme |
1tbs olive oil, like bertolli |
1/2tsp salt |
1/4 black pepper |
Directions:
1. In saucepot over high heat, bring 3 cups water to a boil. Add wild rice. reduce heat to low. Cover; let simmer 25 min. Stir in white rice. 2. Cover; cook 20 min. or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. 3. Add remaining ingredients; toss gently to coat. |
