From a cookbook called Incredible Edibles. I've had it in my file box but have yet to try it. I like that it calls for simple ingredients and is easy to prepare. Ingredients:
1 cup wild rice, uncooked |
1 onion, chopped |
1 1/2 cups celery, chopped |
1 teaspoon seasoning salt |
3/4 cup white wine |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 quart chicken broth |
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients except the mushrooms. 2. Gently mix in the mushrooms. 3. Place in a casserole and bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 1/2-2 hours. |
