This is my Grandmother's recipe Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups wild rice |
4 slices bacon |
1 onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 egg, slightly beaten |
1/2 cup cream or 1/2 cup milk |
1 cup carrot, shredded |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Rinse and Cook Wild Rice - 3 Cups salted boiling water for 30 minutes. 2. Brown and Chop Bacon. 3. Mix all ingredients together. 4. Put in a buttered casserole dish. 5. Dot with butter. 6. Bake at 375 for 1 hour. |
