This is a nice side dish to take to a buffet. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
3/4 cup wild rice, washed well |
1/4 brown rice |
1/4 cup white rice |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced |
3 tablespoons grated onions |
3 cups low sodium chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a skillet and brown. Place in a 2-quart casserole dish. Add broth. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Stir 1 or 2 times during baking. |
