This is a very good whole wheat zucchini yeast bread. The zucchini blends right into the dough, providing half of the moisture and subtle flavor. The bread is so light that a 1 1/2 pound loaf recipe will be the same size as a 2 pound loaf. We love this bread. Enjoy. Ingredients:
3/4 cup warm water |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil |
1 cup zucchini, shredded |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
2 1/2 cups bread flour |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil or 1/2 teaspoon rosemary or 1 teaspoon fresh basil |
1 tablespoon sesame seeds |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons dry yeast |
