Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread (Reduced Sugar)

A better for you recipe. You can add 1/2 a cup of nuts to the batter.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 egg white
1 cup shredded zucchini
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
1. Mix applesauce and sugar.
2. Add eggs and zucchini.
3. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the sugar mixture.
4. Add vanilla.
5. Bake in 1 loaf pan (or two mini loaf pans) at 300 degrees for 50 minutes.
