You can buy inexpensive flax seed in the bulk or health section of your supermarket and grind it in a coffee grinder. Or you buy it already ground. Store ground flaxseed in your fridge. It is rich in omega-3 and is the binder in this recipe. Ingredients:
1 cup white flour |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1 1/2 tablespoons ground flax seeds |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 3/4 cups water |
1 tablespoon canola oil |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Using whisk, mix dry, then add wet and stir. |
